As part of the ongoing modernization and implementation of PRESTO across the system, the TTC is introducing a new Customer Service Agent role. The collector booths you’re familiar with on the TTC today will be closed over the course of the next year.
A new 84E (Sheppard West Station-Sheppard-Yonge Station Express) service will operate to replace express service previously provided by the 196B YORK UNIVERSITY ROCKET between Sheppard West Station and Sheppard-Yonge Station.
Toronto allocates over $90 million annually to ensure that our roads and sidewalks are clear and safe. The City has 600 snowplows, 300 sidewalk plows and 200 salt trucks in its winter operations fleet. In addition, there are about 200 smaller pickups and dumptrucks to help keep the roads and sidewalks safe and passable during the winter season.

The City is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study to look at improvements that can be made to bring the Dufferin Sanitary Trunk Sewer into a state of good repair, reduce the amount of stormwater entering the sewer and improve access for its operation and maintenance.
