740-748 Sheppard Avenue West
The applicant proposed a nine-storey, 82-unit, mixed-use building on the north side of Sheppard Avenue West, west of Maxwell Street. Of the 82 residential units, 60 are proposed to be one-bedroom units and 22 are proposed to be two-bedroom units. The 9th floor will contain only indoor and outdoor amenity space and a mechanical room. Commercial space will be located at grade. A total of 81 parking spaces will be located on three underground levels, 12 of which will be used by residential visitors. There is no parking proposed for non-residential uses. A total of 61 bicycle parking spaces will be included. A road widening of 2.76 metres is required along Sheppard Avenue West and is illustrated on the proposed site plan.
A community consultation meeting was held on December 5, 2012.
