Toronto Hydro Infrastructure Work on Carnival Court and Festival Drive Begins in July 2017

Overhead & Underground Construction Project Carnival – Festival (W14133)

Toronto Hydro is planning to rebuild the aging overhead and underground electrical system in your community to help improve service reliability. The rebuild includes the replacement of the existing electrical cables, tap boxes and transformers within the City of Toronto’s public property allowance in front of or adjacent to your lot.

The civil and electrical portions of this project are expected to begin by early July 2017 with an approximate completion date of late February 2018. The project area includes Carnival Court and Festival Drive. Throughout this project, planned outages may be necessary to switch from the old to the new electrical system and we intend to provide you with advance notice.

Toronto Hydro crews and contractors will take extra care and precautions around your property. Please note that we may require access to your property to install an underground duct from the property line to the meter base location at your home. The portion of the driveway, sidewalk and other areas affected by our work will be restored upon completion of the project as season, weather and schedules permit.
